چکیده
Background: Psoriasis is a chronic auto-inflammatory condition. Treatment modalities include methotrexate (MTX) and apremilast (APL). Although the efficacy of MTX APL well studied, evidence their superiority one over other lacking. Dermoscopy helpful in diagnosis treatment evaluation. Therefore, dermoscopy utilized to assess response. Objectives: This study aimed evaluate dermoscopic assessment psoriatic lesions treated by compare calculating respective Area Severity Index (PASI) scores effect on different patterns psoriasis at levels treatment. Methods: randomized interventional comparative was conducted tertiary care hospital. A total 98 patients were randomly divided into two groups 50 48 patients, given oral/intramuscular 7.5 mg once weekly 30 twice daily for 3 months, respectively. The assessed clinically dermoscopically using videodermoscope, comparisons performed between groups. PASI score calculated evaluated. Results: reduced 83% 65% from baseline groups, with patchy (61.5%) minimal (23%) vessels red dots (92.3%) showed faster achievement PASI-100. However, regular distribution globular failed obtain PASI-100, suggesting poor response Conclusions: Vascular structures play significant role prediction Particular type under can give hint about choosing appropriate drugs psoriasis.

Apart from its apparent efficacy in the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and of several rheumatic diseases, it is associated with adverse events including the induction of autoimmune phenomena. We describe here the development of psoriatic skin lesions in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis...
